This is a little late, but I wanted to share my Christmas hallway decorations with y'all. I'm really proud of them, because this is my first year to do it on my own. Before this year, I was at a school where the paraprofessionals took care of most of my hallway decorations. (It was a different atmosphere there. We teachers had so much work piled on us, we didn't have time to do the awesome things our paras did. They are rock stars!) However, this year I am at a new school that is much more relaxed, and we have time to have fun and be creative. I was a little stressed over it at first, but I think I'm starting to get the hang of the creative side of things. The ornaments on the bulletin board are hard to read in the picture, but they say things things generosity or have carol lyrics or scripture (rural, Southern town, I can get away with it if I'm subtle!) on them. The snowflakes were made by my students when we were learning procedural text.

About RegiI love being a teacher. I'm about to start my fourth year teaching fifth grade (which I think is the best grade!). I have previously taught social studies and currently teach reading. Archives
